Homage to The Dude

“Joe Forkan — The Lebowski Cycle,” a painting exhibit, is at Frank M. Doyle Arts Pavilion, Orange Coast College, 2701 Fairview Road, Costa Mesa. The exhibit blends masterpieces of Western art with images from the 1998 film “The Big Lebowski.” Pavilion is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, and from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Closed Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays.

‘It’s Your Money’ Workshops

Peter Kote will be leading the eight weeks of the free “It’s Your Money” workshops from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Mondays at the Newport Beach Public Library, 1000 Avocado Ave. The workshops promise to “provide attendees with education and practical solutions to financial and estate planning issues, so they can be in charge of their estates during their lifetimes and beyond,” according to a release. ‘Dig Pink’

The Irvine Valley College women’s volleyball team will play Golden West College in “Dig Pink,” an Orange Empire Conference match for a good cause. Proceeds from the 6 p.m. match at Irvine Valley College, 5500 Irvine Center Drive, will go toward breast cancer research. A $5-donation will get you a pink T-shirt and a pink spray cleaner.
