‘Tails of Love’ Pet Adoption
The Newport Beach Plaza Retirement Community presents “Tails of Love,” a pet adoption to benefit Stella’s Hope, a nonprofit that rescues dogs from kill shelters. The adoption is from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 1455 Superior Ave., Newport Beach.
Creating a Fragrant Garden

Adopt a Dog
SoCal Honda and i.C.A.R.E. Dog Rescue will present a rescued dog adoption from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Fairview Park, 2525 Placentia Ave., Costa Mesa. Natura Pet Products will send each adopted dog to its new home with a 5-pound bag of premium pet food.
Book Signing
Author Paula Rose will be at Martha’s Bookstore from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. to sign copies of her book “Casa de Naomi.” The shop is at 308 Marine Ave., Newport Beach.
‘Alice in Wonderland’
