Concours De Nice

Cobra Owners Club of America Orange County will host its 38th annual Concours De Nice from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Park Mall at South Coast Plaza, 3300 Bristol St. The Concours this year will celebrate Carroll Shelby and 50 years of the Cobra, with more than 75 original Shelby Cobras and Shelby Mustangs along with significant Shelby Race Cars. The grand marshal will be World Champion Cobra driver Bob Bondurant, one of the original drivers for Shelby. Admission for spectators is free.

Bulgarian Rhapsody

Saint Michael & All Angels Episcopal Church, 3233 Pacific View Drive, Corona del Mar, screens a 30-minute DVD of the Pacific Symphony Youth Orchestra’s trip to Bulgaria and Ray Chang from University High School in Irvine will give a violin performance at 11:30 a.m. A light lunch will be served. Alrik Yuill

Artist Alrik Yuill will host a fundraiser to preserve his 8-foot, 6-inch sculpture “The Girl and The Music” from 6 to 10 p.m. at his Costa Mesa studio, 1981 Placentia Blvd. Attendees can enjoy the work prior to it drying out and decomposing or undergoing the molding and casting process. The event will be held in conjunction with the final hours of his all-or-nothing Kickstarter campaign that closes at 10 p.m. June 15.
