Support Youth Work Team

The Youth Work Team from Mesa Verde United Methodist Church invites you to support team members by dining in or ordering take-at the Newport Beach Rib Co. in order to help raise funds for their summer work project in Susanville, Calif. Twenty percent of sales on take-out, ordered between 10:30 a.m. and 9 p.m., and during dine-in hours from noon to 9 p.m., will go toward the Youth Work Team’s project to help elderly people through the summer project. Aerial Fitness Demo Day

Kim Phuc

Kim Phuc, who was pictured fleeing the scene of a June 1972 napalm air strike in South Vietnam in the Pulitzer Prize-winning photo by Nick Ut of the Associated Press, will make an Orange County appearance at Liberty Baptist Church, 1000 Bison Ave., Newport Beach, where she will be talking about her experience.
