St. Patrick’s Day Events

Starting at 9 a.m., Muldoon’s Irish Pub, 202 Newport Center Drive, Newport Beach, will have live music, featuring Van Dieman’s Band followed by Mike Fitz & The Droppers. There is no cover charge.

The Harp Inn, 130 E. 17th St., Costa Mesa, will be starting St. Patrick’s Day with an Irish-style breakfast service and Irish bands playing from 10 a.m. and on.

Patrick’s Pub, 2645 Harbor Blvd., Costa Mesa, will be serving green beer, hosting bagpiper visits and giving away free items from noon to 2 a.m. Sunday.

‘The Final Countdown’

Students in the Orange Coast College Repertory Theatre program have been given 24 hours to write and produce a show, “The Final Countdown,” under the supervision of OCC theater alum Sean Wellengard. Performances will take place in OCC’s Drama Studio Lab Theatre at 7:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, and 2:30 p.m. Sunday.
