Lenten Lecture

Keith Nelson, an emeritus professor of history at UC Irvine who directs UCI’s program in Religious Studies, will talk about how an historian approaches searches for secular and religious truths. ‘Traveling Light’

The Irvine Barclay Theatre and Arts Orange County present “Traveling Light,” a performance by London’s National Theatre about Hollywood moguls with Eastern European roots. ‘I’m a Frayed Knot’

An opening reception for the “I’m a Frayed Knot” exhibition will take place from 6 to 10 p.m. at Orange Coast College’s Frank M. Doyle Arts Pavilion. The exhibit will run through march 17 in the Pavilion, which is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays.
