‘Crime Trends Targeting

Seniors’

Andi Querry, a crime prevention specialist with the Newport Beach Police Department, will be about “Crime trends targeting seniors,” during the February meeting of the Daughters of the American Revolution, which starts at 11 a.m. at Liberty Baptist Church, 1000 Bison St.

Geena Davis and Co.

Actress Geena Davis, California Secretary of State Debra Bowen, Rep. Linda Sanchez, state Senate Majority Leader Ellen Corbett, Orange County Sheriff Sandra Hutchens and Newport Beach Mayor Nancy Gardner will speak in support of the California Commission on the Status of Women at a reception in Newport Beach. ‘The New Hollywood’

The Newport Beach Public Library Foundation presents “The New Hollywood with Robert Kline.” Kline, a producer, director and ex-studio head, will talk about this year’s Oscar nominations. Grand Opening Party
