Pet Of The Week

Share

Audi

Our 6-month-old kitten named Audi, (silver tabby Maine Coon-like) has show-cat good looks and can easily be compared to the $1,000 kittens at Russo’s Pet Experience.

If the pet store’s pricey animals sell out week after week and rescue organizations all over Orange County struggle to find homes for the many in need, how can we compete?

Every rescue has the same problems — fewer adoptions through these last few recession years; too many adult animals are being given up; those lost and not found; too many kittens being born outdoors to grow up feral because a “free” kitten wandered away unaltered.

We want you to know there is a big difference between skittish kittens from backyards that are picked from cages and those at Community Animal Network that await permanent homes while they live in homes with families that love them.

If you have never experienced a well-adjusted “pet-quality” kitten, then adopt a pair of ours!

You help the cause that we work so hard for whenever you adopt a rescue mixed breed dog, older kittens or an adult animal in need. Visit https://www.animalnetwork.org to see photos of our available animals.

Call (949) 759-3646 to meet Audi or other animals, like our rescue dog Melody, at the Fashion Island pet adoption event sponsored by Russo’s Pet Experience weekends from noon to 4 p.m.

Thank you for remembering us with your donations we received $125 since the beginning of the year.
