The famed Celtic band the Young Dubliners will be back at Muldoon's Irish Pub from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday.

The Young Dubs, as they are called by fans, is an American band that mixes Irish sounds and modern rock.

Hanukkah celebration at Fashion Island

Adam Sandler put it best: "Put on your yarmulke, it's time for Hanukkah."

Chabad Jewish Center and Fashion Island are hosting a public Menorah lighting ceremony at 3 p.m. Sunday in Fashion Island's Atrium Garden Court near Barnes & Noble.

The event kicks off with a performance by "The Locos!" and then a musical performance by a group of young special needs teens from the Friendship Circle, with the lighting of the Noah's Ark Menorah afterward, according to a news release.

Other activities include gifts, treats, Hanukkah crafts, face painting and balloon animals. Bring a toy to donate as a gift for underprivileged children.

Snow coming to Balearic Community Park

Holiday Snow Land hits Cosa Mesa with 40 tons of snow blanketing Costa Mesa's Balearic Community Park from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday.

Santa will be on hand and you'll be able to take free rides in his sleigh with reindeer. Games and food will also be available.

The event is free, and sales from food will be donated to local schools.
