The setting: Gasol took a pass from a double-teamed Kobe Bryant, laid the ball in with his left hand and drew a foul. The subsequent free throw gave the Lakers a 97-91 lead with 1:14 left in overtime at Staples Center.
The significance: The three-point play finished a 7-0 run by the Lakers, whose 101-96 victory gave them a 2-0 series lead. |
