Entrance to Northwood Plaza

A Baltimore police car blocks an entrance, off Argonne Drive, to the <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="PLGEO100100603012400" title="Northwood" href="/topic/us/maryland/baltimore-county/baltimore/northwood-PLGEO100100603012400.topic">Northwood</a> Plaza shopping center in Northeast Baltimore this morning. Three men robbed the lounge at about 1:30 a.m. today and shot and killed Kenneth N. Harris Sr., a former city councilman who stopped by the business to pick up a corkscrew from the lounge owner. Police said that Harris was close friends with the owner. Harris was transported to <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="PLCUL000168" title="Johns Hopkins Hospital" href="/topic/health/healthcare/johns-hopkins-hospital-PLCUL000168.topic">Johns Hopkins Hospital</a>, where he died at about 2 a.m. today.
