77. Muggsy Bogues, basketball

The point guard known as "The Human Assist" drove Dunbar to two undefeated seasons -- and a No. 1 national ranking in 1983. At Wake Forest, the 5-foot-3 Bogues led the team in scoring and set Atlantic Coast Conference career records for assists and steals. A first-round NBA pick, he played 14 seasons there, was twice Most Valuable Player of the Charlotte Hornets and remains the shortest player ever to compete in the league.
